Simply smudges of color on paper. What do you see??
Beyond the sky, I see faces, animals, and cities within my subjects. I desire to capture the wind in the trees, the atmospheric reflections of dawn and dusk, and places of serenity.
I believe when we savor nature it creates a space in time to experience the presence of God.
Inspiration comes in many forms; people, books, art, shadows, light, relationships, and simple pleasures. I respond emotionally in colors, shapes and lines.

The Creative Process
When I create landscapes I personify the skies and trees through color and movement.
Several of the landscape terrains flow on to the paper as no specific place, gathered from memories or symbolically formed while others clearly take you to a recognizable area. As I work the images can be unexpected.
